2000年8月、東京のスポークンワーズ・シーンを牽引していた詩人・東雄一朗がFUJIROCKFESTIVAL2000後、表現発展形としてバンド形態へと移行させFlight Of Ideaを名乗る。

正式には教科書問題渦中、ソウル路上ライブを経て、2001年6月を結成起源とする日本唯一のNo WavePOETRYROCKバンド。
